Boston College outfielder Joe Suozzi (Glen Cove, N.Y.) signed a professional contract with the New York Mets as an undrafted free agent. Suozzi, who grew up just 20 miles from Citi Field, graduated from BC in May with a degree in economics from the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences.
