Junior outfielder Seth Beer (Suwanee, Ga.) was selected in the first round of the MLB draft by the Houston Astros on Monday night. Beer was the No. 28 overall pick and was Clemson's first first-round draft pick since Richie Shaffer was chosen in the first round in 2012. Beer was also the Tigers' 14th first-round draft pick in history.
