The Miami Hurricanes came up short this week, falling to Atlantic Coast Conference foe Virginia Tech, 37-16. The Hokies were paced by quarterback Jerod Evans, who threw for 259 yards passing and Travon McMillian's 131 yards rushing. On the defensive side, the Tech defense recorded a season-high eight sacks to roll the Canes.
