Boston College senior defensive end Zach Allen was named a semifinalist for the Bednarik Award by the Maxwell Football Club on Monday. Twenty semifinalists were identified for the 24th Bednarik Award, named in honor of Chuck Bednarik for the Outstanding Defensive Player of the Year.
