The Temple Owls may have one of the most unique traditions in college football - facing former head coaches. Last season saw Temple play Boston College, a program led by former Temple coach Steve Addazio. The Owls will face former head coach Geoff Collins and Georgia Tech this Saturday in Philadelphia after Collins left to become head coach of the Yellow Jackets following the 2018 season. Next year will see Temple play the Miami Hurricanes, a program Manny Diaz left for days after replacing Collins.
